Rates include complimentary tea, coffee, drinking water, wifi.
Children welcome age 6-12 yrs, children over 12 are considered adults.
Childrens rates are for famliy suites sharing, otherwise adult rates apply.
Single person supplements apply at $50 per day.

 

High Season : July 16th - September 15th, December 16th - January 15th.
Low Season : January 16th - April 15th, June 15th - July 15th, September 16th - December 15th.
Closed due to Rainy Season : April 16th to June 14th.
 

ABOUT HODI HODI:

HODI HODI (“Hello! may I come in?” in Kiswahili) is a boutique style owner-managed trio of beach houses. Built in a colonial Arabic style, set in tropical gardens, it is just footsteps away from the famed powder-white sands and palm-fringed shores of Matemwe beach, Zanzibar Island.

Hodi Hodi has 7 rooms in 3 beach houses, for a maximum of 16 guests:

Family Room 1 Poa House: Double ensuite, with twin room + WC attached, upstairs.

Room 2 + 3 Poa House: Two standard double or twin ensuite, ground level.

Rooms 4, 5, 6 Dua House: A family room upstairs with double and 2 singles sharing. A double or twin upstairs, and a double or single downstairs. Whole house to be booked for 6 or 8 sharing.  Includes lounge, dining, terraces.

Family Room 7 Toto House: Double and single in one room with small annex with bunkbeds for small children.

The decor is simple, our food is prepared using fresh ingredients, and the honesty bar by the plunge-pool creates a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Our guests can beach-walk for hours, swim in our warm lagoon, or visit nearby Mnemba atol for diving and snorkelling.

We buy our supplies and employ our staff locally, look after the community, protect the environment, and provide an authentic and sustainable experience, at a practical price. We are certified by Responsible Tourism Tanzania, www.rttz.org.

We have the perfect intimate setting for adventurous singles, cozy couples, happy families, friends celebrating, or private retreats.
